Your HIDs would be max 55W! Or is it 35W? Even if it's 55W, it should still be the same wattage as a stock bulb and the heat should be in the same range. That would NOT damage the lamp I believe.

Re: Angels & Demons - The first mod to the Figo

anurag - I called up 3M, HSR. They said they don't do headlight buffing. Maybe, I'll ask what their solution is to the problem rather than me asking for a specific service.

Swiftnfurious - thanks for the detail. Thought as much but I am an amateur at this stuff, at best.

Nice. How much did they cost you? Where did you get them done? Any wire splicing?

Love the design of your car refrigerator . And looks compact too .
How much did it cost you ? What brand ? Does it draw power from the car's battery ?

Re: Angels & Demons - The first mod to the Figo

Does the cooler have any sort of impact on the battery? Sorry for the stupid question but how does it cool as compared to a normal refrigerator?

It doesn't impact the battery much but i generally use it only while i drive the car(i.e., the ignition is turned on)
It won't work like a normal refrigerator but will get the temperature 15 deg below the surrounding temperature. It helps a lot to keep drinks and water drinkable during scotching summers.

Re: Angels & Demons - The first mod to the Figo

Nice Fridge you have.

I gave a quick look on ebay.in and found only one of similar shape,
this should be a 11 Ltr model, which runs only on Voltage 110V A.C.
So I am guessing the ones available in India, are having sometime of Small Inverter which provides 12V D.C. from Car Cigg. Lighter to the unit which converts it.

The inside unit might be Similar like the Belkin and other Car Inverter we all know about, which comes in various Load Sizes, 35 watt, 65w, 150 watts etc.

So this is certainly MEANT to be plugged in while "Engine Is Running" running it with engine turned off, will either trip it, or drain your batter, as per its circuit design.

Now for the cooling Part, 11 Lts is not too Big, It can keep cool things cool, but I would not expect it to ICE Chill a Tap water, but I would not be surprised if OP says its possible in this car fridge.

I have already replied to your query in my previous post.

Re: Angels & Demons - The first mod to the Figo

@Madmax, so how is your projector setup faring after a year and a half? Did you run into any issues or have to use the warranty at all?

I am planning to get the same brand installed in my Figo here in Chennai. The price being quoted is about 20k for the demon eyes version including labour.

Also, as requested by other members earlier, can you kindly post pics of the beam pattern and the spread that it produces on the road (low and hi)? That's the last thing I want to confirm, before going in for these. Tried a local Chinese import and the beam pattern was pointed (read pencil) and had to undo the installation because of that.

Bumped into this thread late, however awesome setup Mad Max.

Any update on the white spots in the headlamps? Were you able to fix it?
