He quoted 3000 at first ! Can you believe that? :Shockked:
After he finished he asked for four. He truly earned that.
And yes I still got a very nice deal.

What! :Shockked: 3k.
I would have had no problems even if he had asked for 5k or even more! The work done is fantastic and with full dedication and attention. The LCLC looks good, though a bit misaligned for me.

BTW, the inside pics attracted me much more! :uncontrol

OT, but is your garage on a downward slope? Or the photos make them look so? If it is indeed then what is above the garage? I am asking this because the garage also seems to have a sloping roof. So does the floor above have a slope too?

Amazing, we can have Team-Bhp garage every where, where BHPians can meet up show their rides, it can be like Team-Bhp cafe, what say people?

Fantastic Job ishlinea. The painter is a true artist.
Not far from the day when some member will paint his car with team-bhp theme:D

Regards,
Saket

I feel it would be a problem with the angle in which the pics are shot. I feel that the garage floor is sloping upwards and then getting flat, as visible from the lower part of the walls of the garage.

More comments on this,please:!

Brilliant! I envy you more for the covered garage than the shutter though. I wish I could park my cars like that.

On another note, talk about cheap labour. Four thousand for THAT? A vinyl print with decent adhesive on the back would have costed more, IMO.

Superb Idea, Even better execution. Can't really believe this is hand paint workmanship. Superb. At first glance one would think it is vinyl and have doubts about the life, but this being painted is just excellent.

You have secured the services of a superb craftsman and he is very very well priced. Am sure you will figure out more work for him in future. Wish he was / you were based in Bombay. :)

You are right.
There are chiefly two slopes. One leading upto the
Shutter and the other slope at a less angle exists for some distance inside the garage.
Since during monsoons sometimes there is scare of floods so the building had to be built at a height and the second slope is to make sure the underbody of the cars do not scrape.

How much would a vinyl cost according to you? Cheapest printed vinyl will come at around 8-9 rupees per sft. With glue and all you can take that to around 15 per sft according to what a printer quotes. If you want 3M eco solvent printing, that will be Rs. 40 per sft. Therefore, for a 10X10ft door, it will cost 4k plus installation. Cheap vinyl will cost less than half of that. So it is either cheaper or as expensive as a manual paint job. However, I feel that a paint job will be more durable and long lasting compared to a sticker. Cheap vinyl will fade or run out colours in no time, while I am not sure about eco solvent.

@ishlinea

I can do just one thing man - a big bow:thumbs up. You have taken the addiction to a totally new level. Next we may see BHPians painting their house walls with the T-BHP stciker logos.

I expected to see a Linea in the garage as per your handle but instead found the Skoda cars.

I must admit Audioholic has got some super sharp eyes, I didnt notice the slope(Well I wasnt at all looking at that at all). Audioholic - Is this IronH4WK effect?:D

I just figured that the garage door was possibly larger than 10 X 10.

Cheap vinyl would fade much faster, so would need to be redone that much sooner.

Either way, when it's possible to get something like this painted SO well at the same cost, why not go for the more permanent solution?

Hello people!
Got the interior of the garage painted so thought of teambhping it up.
So ended up doing this.
A big shout out to Rehaan for helping me with the same.

The pics were taken by cellphone so kindly bear with me.
Also got a open wood shelf attached to place all the car care products.
