5. Yes. Buy a VTEC or get an engine translplant depending on how much money or sweat and headache you want to put into this.

Its better to start with a fast car and make it faster, than start with a slow car and make it as fast as the fast car you could have bought in the first place. (unless ofcourse you are trying to prove some point).

Hey All!

Buying a VTEC will cost me around 5-6 Lacs

But what if i start building my 1.3 investing in the same will be much cheaper option (for now)

What will be difference of power if i build a 1.3, 1.5 and a VTEC.

What Ford Rocam said i agree them i need a fast car but not a car which i can drive just once in a year.

How much will it cost to make a good ride with nice power?

What all do i need to do?

Like which tyre should i go for? (incher? and make?)
Which Turbo?
what will be the maximum speed it'll attain.
(I have driven this ride at 175 kmph with this stock engine)

1.3 @ 175 ? Wow. I have a tough time pushing beyond 140-145, or maybe i run out of "courage" - usually not beyond 120.

for 5-6 lacs means you are gonna get a second hand vtec........whats the point......why not keep a car that you have used yourself and avoid the regret/risk of buying secondhand cars that have been trashed by drivers or illiterates?
keep the car and spend even 7 lacs on it..but its urs to keep and its more economical that way......as it is rocam doesnt even have a city engine in his hood(methinks its a civic {not r type} engine........correct me if im mistaken) so you could contact him and ask him.........as it is he was almost close to being MOD KING of team bhp!
