Is this a musical air-horn by any chance??? Willy dude, does it require installation of a horn-relay which normally is a must while installing most air-horns available in the market???Pardon me for thy ignorance

Yup, It is a air horn. But it is not a musical one. it just has a cut-out. I am not aware about the relay though!

It is louder than the red grill hella, believe me, i had the hella red grill for almost 10yrs and now i have installed the nautilus, it sounds like a truck horn.

I bought it in bangkok for the equivalent of 600 rupees, spent 200 bucks on installation.

Does it have a serious effect on the battery considering its a loud horn??? And guys, can i install this horn/relay kit in my Baleno without cutting/splicing wires thereby retaining the warranty on my car

1600? Don't you think it is a bit high?

I see 789+89 = 878 on eBay India . Add 50 to 100 bucks for install.

Now I am thinking of installing new horns in my WagonR myself.

What do you you think of these STEBEL MAGNUM TM80 for Rs 489 + 69 = 558 ?

I don't see how its sound intensity has anything to do with the battery as its current rating would be well within permissible limits for a car, as for installation in a baleno, the horn comes with a relay and when it comes to avoiding cutting or splicing the only way out would be if you replaced the existing OEM horn with the nautilus. I got it done by GM for my optra so have retained the original horn with a changeover switch for the nautilus.

Willy,

Airhorns are explicitly banned in Bangalore. Either the Hot Tracks guy did not intentionally tell you this or you were not aware in the first place! They're a serious audible inconvenience bordering on nuisance to people around.
