How much would it cost if i want to put spacers and increase the height

Also if you can, lemme know what are the downside of spacers

i don't recommend spacers i had them in my zen and believe me .. they make the ride jumpy,.. the car shakes a lot on humps , suspensions are important i recommend u to go with koni sports shocks or any other good shocks of good company like HR springs & others .

suggest u buy the original

koni sports suspensions cost u 6500/- per side i mean one piece, so for the whole car would be 26000/-

I had an extra pair which i sold it....

1. As the car was kept idle for almost a year now
   (driven only a few times in past 1 year)
   when i took it out for a drive yesterday it was jerking (may be misfiring dont know) = = = what could be the problem ? ?
   
   
2. Suspension i need the car to be hightened a bit so that it wont get draged on every single speed breaker.
   Should i modify the stock suspension or use pedders or koni for the same
   
   
3. A bit of water leakage i guess from the front wind shield (tat can be taken care of during the paintwork)

Guys would really appreciate your suggestions here.

You got a good simple car,

BTW here are my suggestions

2. Suspension i need the car to be hightened a bit so that it wont get draged on every single speed breaker.
   Should i modify the stock suspension or use pedders or koni for the same - New suspension with high end shock (koni/bilstiens) will improve the suspension to an extend
3. A bit of water leakage i guess from the front wind shield (tat can be taken care of during the paintwork) It should be a problem with AC/Leak via bonnet/leak thru firewall or Thru rubber beading so tinker can take care of this problem

My suggestion is please keep the car as simple (OE) as possible,but if you want is to be spruced up then go for single colour with good stickering

the water leakage is only in monsoon season and can see almost a pool of water even after car kept idle for almost a week so my guess its from somewhere around the windshield.

correct me if im wrong

If you are going for paint change, then try for white. It is simple and yet look good with good shoes and skirts. Remember there are not many white OHCs. For me, the skirt you are having is a bit over the top, try something like vinayvtec's one. It looks really good.

dirty fuel line, clogged air filter, conked off plugs just to name a few.
A proper service should do the trick.

Change oil, change plugs, clean fuel tank, replace air/fuel/oil filter, check/adjust timing, check the brakes.

Also flushing the radiator is also highly recommended.

The only "bolt on" kit is from Hotbits (fully adjustable coil-overs)
That will set you back some serious $
However I'm not sure if this will increase the height.
Anyway this is not really recommended with the stock suspension and its already soft and increasing the height will "kill" whatever handling is left.

Clogged A/C evaporator ?
There is no easy way to find this.
Is there rust near the A pillar ? How is the rubber that is on the windscreen ?

I'll advice to keep it simple and clean.

Suggestions

Body :

A metallic white shade (like in the swift)
Nothing too blingy. White with Vtec spoiler, 16" rims 195/205 low profile rubber and a subtle body kit.

Performance mods :

Synthetic Engine Oil
Stock replacement filter
Iridium Plugs (not really sure how good they are)
A decent FFE (custom made preferable, no automech please)
Replacement (read : performance) brake pads
A better Clutch (Stage 1) - Not really required, but never hurts to get a better clutch.

Like everyone has said i too would love it if you would paint your colour white,and try to get that Vtec spoiler.It looks perfect with the OHC.

A nice set of 5 spoke alloys(powder coated),new tyres and it will look awesome.

Mods same as yzfrj mentioned.
1.A good free flow exhaust with a cold air intake,headers and exhaust system would be enough.
2.Uprated brakes,stiffened suspension.
Perfomance coils with iridium spark plugs does not really bring about much notieciable change to a stock car,except they last a longer time than ordinary plug.
Performance clutch also can be installed but only if you are really going to do some serious mods.

@yzfrj: I've changed engine oil after flushing it with ABRO Flush. i dont think i must have even driven 500 kms after oil change. the car had been sitting idle for quite a long time with ocassional 10-15 kms once a month i guess. most of the time i travel in my safari as the tyre oh my OHC are worn out and a bump has come out of the tyre so didnt take it out much fearing it might turn into a punctured tire in the middle of the road.


didnt change the tyres earlier as im still thinking about what color should i go for so that accordingly i'll choose the alloys.
im thinking of 15 or maybe 16 inchers with 195/40 either Potenza or Yokohamas

lately i have noted that the power or the punch which i used to get earlier is missing.

It feels like the engine is trying hard to get the pickup. i dont know what could be the problem.
