Re: StealthCross - My modded black S-Cross

Great mods and very tastefully done. That grill especially looks fab. This thread made me look up your Safari and Bolero. Looks like a pattern.

Drive on,
Shibu.

Only the indicator unit and a dummy unit that looks something like a cornering lamp has been tinted. The contoured frame that holds everything together has been painted matt black. The projector unit and the outer cover has been left untouched. I haven't observed any issues with beam strength. The stock beam throw isn't that great, would like to do some upgrade. Any info on this would help.

Re: StealthCross - My modded black S-Cross

Jose,
Only you have this innate ability to change an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan. More pics needed, mate. What have you done to the interiors? Please post long shots and share more details about the front grill.
Reg. the headlights, have you considered hellas as in your Bolero? Nowadays, stock lamps for all new cars suck. You cant adjust them, focus on road is a real pain and the lights seem to illuminate everything else except the road, a real bummer for mile crunchers like you.

Re: StealthCross - My modded black S-Cross

When you had posted the teaser pic earlier (in Mi10's thread) it took me a while to realize that it is indeed an S-Cross and the mods are tastefully done. Congratulations once again!!

Just saw these pics are up in Motoroids too. Enjoy the beast

Re: StealthCross - My modded black S-Cross

Where's my lower jaw? It looks mean.

When you said mod, I was thinking of a Remap, FFE, CAI etc. Is that on the cards as well?

Only thing (that bothers me): It doesn't look like a sleeper car anymore.

Do you have any pics of opened headlight assembly? I am planning to install better projector. I too have 1.6 Alpha. Stock projector has average output. But I don't know if new projector would fit into stock shroud. Installer told he can tell only after opening the headlight assembly.

I am considering Mini D2S 3.0 with Osram CBI D2S HID bulb

Wow....this looks like a killer. Apart from mods that are done in Cochin, anything in specific being done in hyderabad, if so where. Trying to figure out a place in hyderabad where I could mod my Honda Jazz too

Re: StealthCross - My modded black S-Cross

Boy, I felt left out, had to laud you on a seriously wicked and awesome mod job done. The beast looks like its ready to pounce.
Just a week back i was discussing with another car enthusiast on how black cars look amazing especially with mods and here i am drooling at the pics. Looks like you found yourself a keeper mate (for now).
Maruti should find you and thank you from the bottom of their heart as this will surely add to some of their S-cross sales.

Josepeter, that's a brilliant job that begs for more pictures with a great backdrop!

Permit me to sneak in a quick off-topic question without derailing the thread: how old was the Safari when you began to see the gradual rubber part disintegration? In other words, how old were the rubbers when they started failing?

Woaaaah, am still trying to pick my jaw up from the floor!!! That is one helluva stunning ride you have there, the transformation is just mind blowing. That front end now looks mean and menacing! Great going mate, but this thread definitely deserves more pictures of your beautiful ride!
