I want to know where was the mini bridge photo taken! Seems like a nice locale...

While I do not disagree with your 2nd sentence, well executed mods do not necessarily transform into a good looking car (by any means). The entire fitment gives a very odd and ill-suited look to the car.

I like the front of the modded Swift in particular. Cruze headlights simply add to menacing attitude of the car's personality.

Found these on a FB page of a mod shop. They modded a Bolero to look like a Merc G Wagon. And painted a plethora of cars in awkward paint schemes. Here is a Q7 in a weird paint scheme. Thought it deserves a place here.

Dear Mate, Both cars belong to my uncle's shop called Pandit and Co. in Okhla; New Delhi. The Benz had been posted by me earlier on this very thread. However, Thanks for posting the Audi as I was waiting and thinking for posting it.

Thanks

Under Mr. Bharat Pandit, the company was doing great, but its taste has gone down. I think there has been a change in the way the company is being run now.

The Bolero looks like its on the way to a fancy dress competition. How on earth can anyone say 'looks like a G Wagon'?. There is not even the slightest of resembles to a G. And thank God, the Q5 is 'LIMITED'.

Hideous. The Q5 reminds me of a red bull can.
That said, I love the shade of blue on the car.

PS: The Bolero actually has a set of G55 tail-lamps, or atleast convincing knock-offs. Why they're mounted vertically, god knows!

They could at least think of some way to replace the stock ones, if at all they were very strict on having it there!

The album was titled "the G", so they guys who built it think it looks like a G

And err... I just called a Q5 a Q7 :banghead:

Very neatly executed IMO. The modder had to "Cruzify" the Swift which obivously looks purely the owners mindwork but still was able to deliver it well though the end product looks hideous but there is some good level of execution seen. Look at that front which is very nicely done. Very good workmanship IMHO

Doesn't feel appealing from any angle, in my opinion. The front bumper with the extra skirting is a bit too much, and he'll find it very difficult to keep in good shape, in Kerala roads. And the Civic tail lamps are just no-no in a swift. The original tail lamps are well suited for the shape of the car, as the rear corner is one distinctive feature of the Swift's overall stance. That definitely looks weird. But overall the modification work is done well. Especially I liked how well the bonnet shape is done.

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

This is as weird as it's ever going to be! This was once a Tata Sierra but now masquerades as a Mitsubishi Pajero soft-top SWB. Even has beige interiors, police strobe lights on the windscreen and what looks like an airbag equipped steering from the late model Indian Pajero.

Found on olx.in

re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

The mod on the Bolero to me would have looked fine had it been a little more subtle. The front looks nice but the detailing on the door and the worst part was the rear high mounted G-tail lamps.Either place them on the right location or loose them IMO.

Hi all, Can someone guess the original car in the pic? It's from the mods own country.
