re: Pics of weird & wacky mod jobs in India!

Saw this car today near Tilak Road, Pune.
The owner seems no doubt love the car, but ended up overdoing a bit

Spolier, ORVM, exhaust - all customized.

IIRC i have seen a Fiat similar to the lines of this car on TBHP. Can't remember where, but will certainly dig it out.

Any idea what is this vehicle?

Couple of weeks back I saw this car next to me in Bangalore traffic. I quickly shot this with my iPhone. I couldn't shoot the front side, but it looks like the vintage Ford pickup from the front.

Any idea what this is?

Re: Any idea what is this vehicle?

i feel it is a poorly customized maruti gypsy,
the tail gate and the front door seem to point to a gypsy.

Re: Any idea what is this vehicle?

I too agree that this can only be a modified Gypsy.

Re: Any idea what is this vehicle?

Door looks slanting and why does the rear seat facing backwards?? Strange setup

I guess it should be a amateur job

Re: Any idea what is this vehicle?

AFAIK That's a Gypsy as heavy foot described its got tail end of a Scorpio and a modded exhaust and the front fenders have been flared to an abnormal size and the bonnet from the side angle seems to be slanted.

All in all A very good vehicle reduced to a Caricature.

Re: Any idea what is this vehicle?

Seems like a bad modification on a Gypsy.

Re: Any idea what is this vehicle?

Certainly a Gypsy, look closely towards the front door
it shows something like a gypsy Dash.

However the body work seems to be done by non-experienced guys and those seats at back looks like crap.
The way it is covered with metal pipes, looks like its used to carry horse or some big sized pet.

Looks like a Tata Sierra to me. A Gypsy is not this 'broad'
