Exactly.... so now, wedont know if the Corsa which went well around the track has the straight line speed to thrash a 360 on the drag strip.... Maybe it had just enough to beat an Integra...... But an Integra and a 360 are very different

Off-Topic : But for those who may have missed it. A Capture of the Merc SL55 AMG sqashing the Ferrari at Mumbais speedrun.

A Ferrari losing is just something you dont see everyday. Not that you see a Ferrari racing everyday either It was terribly driven, and the owner got the paddleshifts all wrong.

Uh. I guess I was wrong. There IS actually a video of a Corsa B eating a Corvette: Corsa B vs Corvette - Google Video. Man, these brazilians are crazy! The only aftermarket part I got from Brazil for my Corsa are a set of ACDelco gas shocks.

End of day, video or no video, I am still getting that vette. What do u say?

There are millions of video out there of beetles beating ferraris and evo's..
but it doesnt prove that beetles have great tuning potential or are basically a great platform for mods... I have seen beetles beating supra's on the track but that's becoz of the diff in the level of tune..
corsa is just another example.. just how much a fully blown up modded family car can do.. if you put in crazy amounts of money..
But looking at the title of the thread it seems you are trying to show that corsa's are great or something .. ?

I think I'll still take the vette. By the way, why don't u start a thread on Beetle videos and maybe we can all have a little fun too?

This is a very old thread, but stumbled upon it while viewing another thread.

BUt after seeing the first video, the only thing I could do in the interest of humanity, sorry BHPianity, was to share this.

Awesome is an understatement. Almost fell off laughing also

After being used to a big engined 3-series as a daily driver for a while now, I am curious to take the Opel Corsa OPC for a spin at the ring. For old times sake, and for about 400 Euros (which isn't exactly cheap considering an E90 M3 rents at 1100 Euros)

Soon a production Nurburgring version will be out

To some of the folks who commented much earlier -- still think its just another tricked out car from the amateur's garage?
