I assume you have not had any such problems and NG was probably mis informed or was erring on the safe side. BTW I'm told the Standard 1.4 Corsa/Sail come with 13" Steel rims and only the 1.6 version of these cars come with Alloys.

a) Nope. Under the hood mods were done step by step over a period of two months. Started with free flow, then K&N, throttle body, iridium, fuel pressure regulator and so on. It's always better to do it this way so that you can come to know how much difference each mod is making. The most boost I got was from the free flow, throttle body and Fuel pressure regulator.

b) National garage people are dumb to say the least. 15" with stock 15" tyres will obviously interfere with turns. What you should do is put 15" with low profile 195/50 15 tyres. Problem solved.
The standard 1.4 does come with 13" steel rims. i upgraded to 15" alloys later.

the spoiler's custom made and completely my choice. Guess I'll keep it. BTW, I regularly do 160-180 on the expressway. So think it's quite handy

Another factor to consider Navin (keeping in mind, that it is your wife's car) is that the ride comfort will deteriorate on 195/50 R15 tyres.

That is quite an assumption on your part, considering that the spoiler has probably never aero-tested to verify whether there are any benefits of it at all. For all you know, it might be generating lift for you!!

Gee! I really liked the fact when I read that you have a 4x2x2 free flow. Its very rare! To me, 4x2x2 looks more better than a 4x2x1! I do know its disadvantages. Don't pour them here. Was just my feeling & comment.

When you brought your 1.6?? At around '04 all 1.6 sold in bangalore, atlest, came with steel rims only. Later they sold some limited edition(?!?!) 1.4 sails with alloys.

You've got some muscle there dude, congrats...

About the spoilers i have to go with the others, its way too big for your car. Jokes apart, spoilers are not supposed to make u fly low. If its producing lift then your spoiler is not doing justice to your car in anyway. If you are really doing 180kph with that kind of a spoiler it might really give you a LIFT Hope you got what i'm saying. Play safe dude
