Hi, planning on getting rid of it in my Seltos, good to know that dealers can do it.

One follow up question though, does this disable the handbrake alarm?

Edit - My dealer is petrified and flat out said no.

Anyone know specific leads in Chennai / Bangalore who can get rid of this pestilence for me? DM me if you cant put the info in the main thread. My drive is a Seltos

To paraphrase King Henry 2 of England, "Will no one rid me of this turbulent noise for me?"

There is no way other than to physically disconnect the buzzer. Your choice if you want to do it that way. All the alarms will be disabled, even the useful ones .

Hi i am planning to buy an MG ZS EV for my daily run which is 90% highway. Can the beep be turned off on an MG? I am based in Pune.

Anyone done this in Chennai? Any contacts for the same please DM me. Would much appreciate it.
My 2 cents on the speed warning beep. I find it highly annoying and distracting. I don't mind a light telling me the speed limit is crossed but the intermittent and constant beeps are just too much nannying. This is just my opinion and I can understand the reason it's there.

Nobody is doing this for MG yet AFAIK.

Please specify which car you have. That would make it easier for others to help you.

My apologies. Tata Nexon BS4 diesel.

Has anyone here successfully disabled the 120kmph warning alert on the Ford Endeavour?

My BMW X3 2019 model's speed alert got disabled through remote coding. Initially I was unsure about this whole idea of remote coding but this guy carried out the work smoothly. What a relief from irritating alerts :).
Thanks for reference guys.

I spoke to a technician at the Ford ASC, he told me that it can be done by tweaking the software but they won't do it.
The reason he gave me was, if its performed by them the license would be revoked by the company.

Are you looking for the Endeavour?
Not sure about other Fords, but I remember someone telling it can be disabled using FORscan software and OBD tool for the Endeavour. Owners groups should help

This can be done with the OBDeleven.

Can you enlighten me on how to achieve this?

Also, seeking Gurus input on how to disable that 120kmph continuous beep in Jeep Compass. If disable is not possible, at least increasing this value of 120 to an higher value is also good.

Hi,

My dealer just politely refused to do this on my new Hyundai Alcazar.
Has anyone achieved this anywhere in India on an Alcazar?

Also, as Alcazar is a connected car, can Remote coding work?

Any guidance will be thankful.

I don't think it is possible to do anything about this in Hyundai/Kia cars. Some people have tried to physically disconnect the buzzer. But that does kill all the other warning sounds as well. Risky move.

Hi, just came across this page that I used for a friend's X1, they are even doing remote coding for all BMW's, though it started with VAG's.
You can check their page out.

Cheers

Thanks for this? How much do they cost to remove the beeps? Looking to do it on my 330i when I get it.

The prices usually vary from car to car, I got it done on my Audi, please hit them up for BMW once. The guy responds in a prompt way mostly.

Did not find any discussion on impact on warranty? have you checked if this will void the warranty?
