dude.. a BIG no to sony HU s, they all sound crappy,i've heard too many of them and that is enough, if you really wanna enjoy crisp sound, go for polk or pioneer or jbl or kenwood or blaupunkt

The old Alto Vxi 1.1 and Zen had better out side rear view mirrors, both sides. This will enhance the look and are better than the stock mirrors in Alto Lxi.

Looking back through old posts by me I came across this thread once again....He he back in June I was completely clueless when I got my car which is incidentally my 1st. I had a long list of things I wanted for my new car which is not so new by now .

Well to do a synopsis these are the things I could get till date:

2)Sony Xplod GT460 US Rs.6500/- (untill unless I'm getting a head unit brought from US by my friend which is still under consideration)

I got myself a Pioneer DEH 7950 UB (Rs. 9800/- without B/W)

3)Sony Front two speakers (under-dash) Rs.1000/-

Hmm, got myself a pair of JBL GT5 402 but wanted GTO 427...too bad my vendor couldnt provide. (Rs.1800/- without B/W)

4)Rear speaker panel Rs.450/-

Yeah got this one for Rs. 400/-

5)Sony Rear two oval speakers Rs.1800/-

Ha ha ha Got myself a pair of JBL GTO 937 (Rs.3500/- without B/W)

6)Seat Covers-
P.U. Rs.1600/-
Fabric Rs.1400/-

None till date

7)Side Door Panel Guard Rs.350/-

Glix charged Rs.650 for them

nice job with the update.

I hate the plain OVRM and hence would suggest the OVRMs that come with VXis for LX/LXi users as these are internally adjustable and have better convex mirrors.

After 2 years of owning the car I finally got myself seat covers and a car security system from GLIX today.

I got Art Leather seat covers which cost me 4.5K and I got Xenos Failsafe 180 4A Central Locking system which cost me 3.2K.
