Underbody neons are available in almost every other accessory shops. Some refer it to as blue tubelights.

Cost varies with the brands. Locally made Type R brands (not the original Type R) cost around 1k per piece (3 feet long tubes). Brands like street glow cost a bomb. Costs vary with size and they are available in a variety of colors.

Okay, so you spend 2k and what is the practicality aspect of these underglow tubelights? No, this is a serious question. May be I am missing something here. Enlighten me!

Nothing practical except for the look factor. These visual modifications have caught up after the Fast n Furious movie became popular.

It makes it that much easier when you have a broken axle in the middle of the night & you got to fix it all on your own.

@ neel12345 - Try Wheels (near Triangular Park), Xclusive (Sarat Bose Road, near Maddox Square), Glix (Alipore). All these places have neons and other odd lighting whyting stuff.

Whaaaaat? There is some kind of sensor that activates/deactivates power (for the neons) based on sound pressure. Usually used with neon wire installed with Subs. Speedzak used to have a similar setup in his Blau Velocity Bandpass sub. This thing is very similar to those clap-activated switched for lamps. I didn't know people used them with underbody neons.

I wanted to fit those and I was told that fitting such things would lead to me voiding my car warranty.

Dunno whether it is sound pressure that triggers the neons on or off. I think stumpy had the strobes on his zen hardwired to his ICE.
