your cars looking hot. i think you should get angel eye lamps and aftermarket tail lamps. the rims match this car very well.

Yea, I do have a FFE, but am not revving past 3000prm now while running in the overhauled engine. So, no exhaust note for now :(

SFXi tail lamps - check Sideways' Gallery!

i am speechless - cant wait to see her in person. she is looking Drop Dead Gorgeous or is it "he"?

I thought the cluster that Sideways has came with the newer Lancers (maybe he retrofitted them?). Check out vid6639's SFXi - same cluster as mine:

Thanks akshay. Angel eyes were considered, but didn't go for them owing to their poor quality (as reported by others on this forum). Tail lamps? That's something for the future.

Congrats Razor.
Superb job.
Phoenix looks great.
Well done.

3000kms "kab khatam hoga?" well i have an easier solution for that:

jack up the front wheels, start the car, go through the gears till 5th - and leave it running - you will get a very high FE + 3000Kms running-in in no time
stupid:

Ps: please dont do this - i have a better solution - please let me do the running in - you know how i drive - slow and steady! :p

woww.. Looks dark and dangerous!! Like the blacked out indicators on the headlights.

Razor ,can u please post some pictures of the Engine Bay??:)

Had a little photoshoot session today. Wimwian will be posting some niiiice pics :D

I'll upload a few too on Imageshack or Photobucket by popular demand!

He he he, no hangover thankfully. My net connection was acting up though, hence the delay.

Had a great time yesterday. Met up with Razor at the HM dealer in the morning (where a cyclist bumped into my Swift's rear :Frustrati). Went to Glix to get the tweeters changed in Razor's car and spent some time tuning the amp to his taste. That was followed by a late lunch and then off to Salt Lake Sector 5 & New Town for the photoshoot where shuvc joined us. A quick coffee break followed the photoshoot @Technopolis CCD. Finally at about 6-ish, I parted with Phoenix with a heavy heart :)

You can find the pics here.

Nice photographs but bit grainy. Why?

Razor, painting job is top notch. Please take care.

The ones in my garage? I guess because I had to reduce the resolution & quality to bring the size down. The originals are pretty good quality.
In any case, a certain someone has agreed to take some professional grade pictures in November ;)

@Wim: Awesome pics :)

Hmmm, I noticed some of my photos are grainy too. Must be because of the loss in resolution when I uploaded them. Checked the originals, they're fine!!

Thanks buddy. But I must confess, photos do not do justice to phoenix... It looks way better in person!!

Hey Razor !! :)

Great job. Nice to see the car FINALLY. It looks very nice indeed. Just one small observation - relocate (realign) the horn from where it is now - it shows from under the wire mesh & spoils the look.

The paint job seems very well executed. Enjoy the ride. I hope it drives as good as it looks. Who would say the car's age is what it is. The project I am sure was worth your while. E N J O Y !!!!!:)

Cheers
