Wimwian - I meant to say on Picasa there is a option download original pic, just enable it like Razor has done.

Small update:
Got the intake pipe and assorted paraphernalia.
Looks nice and sleek. Gonna fit it once I have the aluminium heat shield in place.

Here's a pic (courtesy Viper):

thats one amazing lancer

Is there any drop in FE after the Porting and polishing job???

@desigNation: Thanks man!

@lancer_maniac: Not measuring FE until the run-in period is over for the overhauled engine. But, according to Viper, there should not be any appreciable drop. Let's see...

Well if viper is correct U can see one more ported Lancer in this forum;)

IMO the fuel efficiancy goes down MAINLY because of the change in driving style. The high revs are the main culprit - shifting gears @ 6k RPM is bound to bring down fuel efficiancy. Coz we love to hear the sound of the free flow & the VVRRROOOOOMMMMMMM.

If you maintain the driving style that you have been used to - the drop in FE would not be much.

Cheers

Congrats Razor, the cars looking good. Congrats to Viper too for executing PRoject Phoenix (nice name). Enjoy it Razor and run it in well. After that we want a full fledged report with pics, no picasa albums!!:) Enjoy Mate.

Now here's an outstanding Lancer!! Well done and congratulations.

Thanks Gogi bhai! Regd the report - will do.
Jiggy did the performance part of the project. The cosmetic stuff and the other mechanical jobs were carried out in good old Cal by AV Designs.

@sam: thank you sir!

Very well done and we enjoyed every bit of development. Great looking car.

Great job razor. Have fun and drive safe.

Cheers:)

Hey Abhishek,

Must say that the car does look really stunning. Very nicely executed job and would like to offer a suggestion. Please look after the car carefully and do polish her once every 3-4 months.

Dont think I need to tell you how difficult it is to maintain a black car. Either keep it sparkling else no point.

Viper

@moral, redsfx: thanks!

@viper: thanks buddy, and yes, i am well aware of the challenges of maintaining a black car, especially in a city like calcutta. here, people take sadistic pleasure in scratching/harming good looking, well maintained cars. don't ask me why! will be a tough task, but as i mentioned before, this is my labour of love!!
