@Turbo Head - Its only the Scorpio's "turbo", that he mentioned, his friend is going to use and not the whole engine.
Infact, it's too late to comment now! The thread is two years old!

I just overlooked that! Maybe this is what the project turned out into:-
My Friend's Gypsy project-54462.jpg
My Friend's Gypsy project-54464.jpg
My Friend's Gypsy project-butch-gypsy.jpg

Its sort of an "in your face" love it or hate it design. But very well executed.

this one of gyspy modification sure is IN YOUR FACE, love it or hate it!

some inspiration from Hummer and Darth invador!

good execution and nice choice of small ideas like the front bumper guard, the extended wheeel arches, verticle tail lights, smaller door glasses and the choice of colour!

Nice one indeed, I somehow liked the butch looks of the car.

Chilling looks
I remember seeing another snap of the same with camo nets in the back.
head turner!
Pros -It seems to be cost effective mod. A common man will hardly recognize its gypsy inheritance.

Cons - Lot of added weight, wide tyres & end can will make it a perfect 'hummer'
the one which will hum without "dum" on wheels

I still remember test driving a metallic blue gypsy (410w) fitted with 265 tyres in chennai
it was another "hummer"

The pics were hosted earlier on Team-BHP itself in one of the Speed Run or some thread, not that it was a participant but it was there.

Guys please stop calling the Gypsy a "car".

If you look closely the roof has been shortened in height than stock and thats why the bottom half looks even more butch. I just liked the fact that this design is very intimidating for an otherwise humble looking Gypsy, this is something which you would give way to off-road if you saw in in your RVMs. I had actually kept these pics and rmonie's (Rahul) Gypsy pics thinking that if i ever build a Gypsy its going to be a combination of these two styles and maybe Khansultan's Gypsy's SPOA setup and rear overhang chop to make one hell of an off-roader.
