This happened only once with me long time back. Somehow managed to open the hood and disconnect & reconnect the battery terminals and the doors unlocked. Had requested a passerby to be near the door and to yank the door open as soon as it unlocked.

Learnt my lesson right & proper and the hard way. Ever since I carry the duplicate in the other pocket..

What if one forget to take the key out and close all the doors.
Situation: you meet your friend and stop the car, you get out, close the door and talks to him, click - there goes the car locked up.
