how abt fitting a simple fan into ur grill
so that---
1 when the car is in motion ,the air from outside will be rammed in when the fan turns.

and
2.when standing still, the fan shud not turn but as the hot air is there inside and it tries to go out,so in doing so the fan turns the other way, throwing out the hot air.

also for this u dont need to connct to the battery.

wil thios really work

Hey rice,
as i said in the pm, the blow dryer motor will simply not work... to make a thing like this work you will need about 175+ cfm atleast.. but then you will have problems like, lean burning, as the carb uses a vaccum to draw fuel... you will have to then get an uprated fuel pump, and modify the carb so pressures are restricted to some ports in it.

there are electric superchargers in the market, but those motors need huge amounts of power to work, so they last only for a few seconds till the caps charge.

What kinda budget are you looking at?... you could probably get a used turbo for about 50$ and then work on the piping etc... i would suggest the book "Maximum Boost by Corky Bell" good stuff in it, will help build your own turbo system. It even has info on carb turbo setup's. As setting up a turbo on a carb is prety tedious.

Cheers
Dom
