Give Shumi a car or for that matter a bike and he will still win the race.

Try to extract the max out of your car. A skilled driver can do wonders than a naive driver who drives a car with mods.

Perhaps it has to do with my driving style? I am a hard-footed driver.
I use Shell Super and the measurement was done from tank-full to tank-full. The mileage has been improving constantly though, when the car was brand new, I got only around 9 KMPL, now after first service, around 11 KMPL in city. In highways I get around 13 KMPL.

I did mention the mileage to the service engineer at Prerana motors (from where I had purchased the car) and he told me that the mileage will increase only after the third service.

Any good place in Bangalore to get it done? I have seen in other threads that installing it properly is critical. Also how much would it cost? Would the Prerana folks do it for me?

I'm sure I could beat Schumi around the Nurburgring in a Ferrari, if he was on a bicycle.

The Stile 1.1 gives only 11 in BLR with AC?!

I think Schumi will beat you with a bicycle if you're driving the car in discussion here.

you can fit replacement filter easily without voiding the warranty.....
do one thing...get the replacement filter - open the filter box - pull out the stock filter - put in the K&N (as simple as is goes) - dont put k&N stickers anywhere.....keep the stock filter at home safely and packed... enjoy the new drive.....

very imp- when u go to service station do the vice versa of above steps. they wont come to know that u had put any filters.

Why on earth did you buy this car, then?

Nevermind, though. To each his own.
