Mahindra CJ4A - Toyota Twin Turbo Engine Over 300HP

post more info later

iv got a 1977 mahindra cj4a jeep that i have put in a toyota supra twin turbo engine in it. the engine is about 240hp stock, i am going to change the manifold to a custom single turbo with a td04e T3/T4 Hybrid Turbo and a external hks Wastegate. i run a front mount intercooler and 16psi boost on stock turbos (stock boost is 12psi) so i all ready have about 260hp i will dyno tune the engine after single turbo conversion and i should see about 250kw @ the rear wheels

PICTURES TO COME

I just hope the wheels of your jeep dont run faster than your jeep . Otherwise for the power that you already have , I am wondering if the wheels of your jeep are still sticking together .

I would try an engine above 75bhp at the max for any mahindra jeeep as such ..

again!

Is this for real? As greatmana2000 says, I really hope the engine, body and wheels stay together.

And then there's the small matter of stopping a Mahindra jeep from those speeds. With the four wheels on the road, preferably.

Nice! Hope you have modified the rest of the Jeep & the rolling chassis to handle this enormous amount of horsepower.

this ought to be interesting. what about the transmission? is it 4WD? or is it RWD? whats the 0-100 on this bad boy? this was always an impossible dream, glad someone had the guts to do it. I'll watch this thread closely.

I seriously think u are not doing justice to that engine. It should've been put in some saloon and not this jeep. Am really wondering how the whole thing will hold on together!!
