There are many people are just doing that and Darshan are selling Remus like hot cakes. People often place orders for Remus and install it. I have personally seen a cars being fitted with Remus at Darshan Tires and often heard them say they have fitted Remus in many cars.

Absolutely. Infact, you can get a genuinely fast car with a good FFE for about 10 grand

I don't think Performance has gone up after installing the remus end-can. I fitted it for music and it's looks.
Although Remus hardline was my choice(10,000) i opted for remus swift bolt-on since i did not want to do welding job in my car.
Remus Bolt-on is avalaible for:Getz,swift,Skoda,accent,fusion,Honda city,Merc etc..,

Check out their website REMUS Racing for more info

Audi A4 | 1.8L Turbo | 4dr & 5dr | 2 tips square 3.62"x3.07" angled Remus Sports Remus Exhaust Shop

So what about the above, if I install it in my Skoda 1.8TPI, then can I later on add a FFE to the middle and use this as the end, just for the deeper sound? I think the above is more than just the end can...

Those looking for performance increase, i doubt if any, would be 3-4% according to the above page. Its better if you add K&N air filter, it would be cheaper and better performance gain

This brand of exhausts is more well known especially in the UK for its motorcycle pipes.

Maybe because most of them are not aware of the difference between a FFE and an end-can...

[myself included got me a remus for 13k when i should have gone for automech ffe]

it probably will. you should look for a diesel specific endcan/exhaust.

Are you sure? i thought Iridium plugs will make a diffrence!

Anyway I installed both Plugs & the K&N at the same time and i could feel that my swift was more peppy than before...might be because of the filter.
