The Audi R8 was actually the le mans concept Audi Le Mans | Concept Cars which was showcased in 2003 which was before dc's go was showcased in geneva ,ie, in 2004 so sorry dc 's design is as geniune as the Chery QQ.

He's picked up the headlights from some where and used them as tail lights. A little more modification of the rear side will mean that the car has two 'front's and you will not be able to tell if the car is going in the obverse or the reverse direction.
Actually that's also a trend which audi started with the tt where the front and rear lights are symmetrical ,although the practice is alot more common now for eg. see the new lancer evo x.

The interiors look bad.

The DC Go costs 1/3rd of the Audi R8, The car looks a bit heavy from the rear and looks like its been inspired from the Italdesign cars.

As much as I hate the interiors of the GAIA I really like these interiors. Very basic and somehow have a very racey look to it. The only thing this car really needs is some airbags with the v6 sitting behind you. Is this the same v6 thats going into the DC S?

There is also one thing to be noticed..The DC S features at the Auto Expo is the re-incarnation of the GO. Same body design with a few changes to the overall design.

It is hideous. It looks like a cross between the Audi R8 and the Chrysler Crossfire with that back end. And the front end skirts look like they're trash pans.

This design wasn't bad. The hanging headlights apart the profile looks completely different from the R8s. Must be said one of DC's better designs, but had been featured quite some time back.

Well one question. Who buys the stuff made by DC. As in has any of his cars reached a customer. I am not talking of small car kits but of the cars like amdirod?

Talking of DC cars reaching customers last I saw the yellow car was rotting away in a warehouse in JNP (port) windows open....all types of rodents allover...it was racking up demorage charges as DC had broken contract terms with Noble cars (they had comissioned him to redsign the old noble) by showing the car to the public/press...DC abandoned it and Nobel refuse to accept it so it was lying in Mumbai port not shipped out to the UK.....You Know DC is that typical Indian Lala bsuinessman who never really professionalised...I went to his workshop some years ago and found them to be all show and no go....the material and logic behind his builds have no durability enginered into them....you will be surprised a Tata estate he did some years ago had cork material hanging out for one his body claddings as the paint had totally peeled off...with him it is all show...fancy cloths move around in mercs and public ko lagoa topi.....theses guys get themselves totaly hyped by coming in your face through the media and are never available to interact one on one as there is nothing there deep inside...it is like the consipiracy theory....and as we all know there is sucker born everyday....and he is DC's client!! I have interacted with people who worked there and he is known to cut corners and use other peoples ideas..some of his designs are good but he totally lacks the engineering depth needed to deliver a worldclass customised car because he comes from a design background only....rest is like any road side fabricator could do if they had good supervision

Imagine this:
Get DC to work for Vijay Mallya! Mallya cracks the whip ( really hard,of course), and DC gets on the right track!

Oh yeah..dream on!
cheers:
