Suggestions on things to be brought from the US, for my Alto

Bring back an "Ooooogah" horn. If you do not know what one is, ask around. The sound is quite distinct. For some reason people always smile or laugh when they hear one.

Nitin, I second Technocrat. Better you got to a wallmart and check. Things I got from Wallmart are
1. a 12v accessory light with magnetic base and extendable wire. Can plug into the 12v socket and stick to the body (magnetic base). Useful for tyre change, cheking things under hood etc at night.
2. A small flask type cup (which can be placed in cup holder).
3.A good tool set with a drill (not car specific, but still useful for car too, helped me in my DIY)

You will find more useful small things when you go there.

Yes, there are lots of odds and ends that you may not find back in India.(even if you do, it will be at a higher price). Pick whatever you think will come in handy.

Me, I would wipe out the whole section clean !

12V air pump.
I y'day saw a good one at TARGET for 15$ only. One of my friend is using it since long time w/o any problem.
