Regarding color shade i have narrowed down to MB silver,Wine RED and Golden. I will be changing the RIM, Door pads,Streering Wheel but Dashboard change is too costly, because i will have to change the Meter and other thing along with dashboard. So not yet decided. Can any body suggest Type-II, Head light and tail light is good or i should go for Type-III.

You might want to go in for Type 3 lights if you want to have her upto date. However, IMO Type 2 tail lights are better than Type 3.

Nice choice of colour. Do ensure you get the side mouldings for all four doors so that it adds to visual appeal.

The fender and rear tailgate are changed it looks- so you'll also fit the new dashboard. How many kms has this car run? The rusting was quite deep rooted on the footboard and other places.
Maybe a costly renovation offsetting the value of the car. But cheers! Keep it up. Only had you kept it original with its 1988 looks which will slowly become rare.

As it is raining here for last couple of days due to that final paint job is pending. I will paint her passon Red metalic. Today i went to purchase tyre and he told me price of bridgestone 145/70/R12 will cost 1680/- each. For type II rim it will cost 550 each but it another shop he told me for type II rim it is 750 each. Here i want a suggestion for gurus. If for experienting purpose i will put a diesel engine into it which engine will be good and what will be the aproximate cost. Anyway i will definitely update pics after some progress of work

Car has come out really well, nice color also. If you are retaining the rims, do a complete clean up and painting after removing the tyres, it will give you a good finish, avoid spray over on other parts and cover the innards and protect from corrosion.
