Faulty Wiring of the Audio system leads to this

guys

just came across this accent - the dash caught fire due to faulty wiring of the audio system !! the materials used were cheap quality - so take care when wiring up your cars

The burnt centre console

Man thats bad....i cant even recognise the parts that guy is holding up assuming thats part of the dash. Serves as a lesson to get the wiring done from authorised people only. By the way, where is this car located?

NC, I think you should reduce the size of these images or upload onto imageshack and thumbnail them. Took me 4 mins to view them on bradband, can't imagine it on a dialup.

Holy Crap! Thats terrible. I hope thats not a Team-BHPians car.

Hope this serves as a lesson to all those who get their stereos installed from untrained road-side "cobblers"

penny wise pound foolish huh? kind of un-believable. if this is because of a short circuit then the fuse we have in the car should have blown and protected the equipment right?
