how much of an effect does blacking out of headlights have on the effectiveness of the lights????????
i dont wanna compromise on safety but wouldnt mind if it were 10%...
i anyways have 130/100 GE bulbs with a bosch relay, so light effectiveness is good..
would a blacked out light look good with clear lens lamps or normal lamps?

should i also blacken the tailblazer or leave it the normal colour????

and what is the name of this spray..
finally the last question: how much does a can cost?????

If you are really into projector lamp, something out of a Peugote cars will fit [have seen these on car in Europe] they are a little longer than that of esteem but they look good, and I think they are available on net.

hello frank,
if you are going for the rally look, dont forget to add those flexible rubber mud flaps too, looks amazing, works well during rains too.i had it in my esteem.Unfortunately i dont have the pics with me right now,
Also, regarding the fog lamps, you can add square shaped hella lamps in the fog lamp slot,(think some one in the forum has them in their esteem) or go for a pair of round hella lamps. You could add 2 pairs too..(i know its overkill, but looks great.)
please post the pics once you are done.

I think you should wait for the monsoon to be over and the atmosphere to get a bit dry before going for the paint job.

I think the old 309 in India has a replacement projector cluster there and also the old 206 in Europe, By they are around 2.5 cm longer then the type 1 [M1000] esteem lights, so you may have to modify the bonnet to accommodate that.Or If you can get your hands on Projector fog lamp of cars in India you can make a cluster with that and add angle eye to them. It will be easy to do this.

The throw from the fog lamps will be good, have seen the once on sonata, they a better than most of the headlamps on other cars, but this is only if you are using xenons not with regular bulb. or else hunt for xenon fog lamp from after market shops. You'll get a good variety at Opera house.Have seen couple of good fog lamp with xenons.

The smoking spray comes in a small canister. Don't know the name/price, mine was done for free.

Round ones anytime.

Btw, one of my friend imported PIAA fogs from US. He seems to be really happy about those. They look really good for sure

130/100 with bosch relay are good, my friend has same setup on his type carb esteem, his is the regular seal beam not clear, but if you are getting clear lens seal beams that would be great, the spread of this is wonderful.I think he is using Mico bulbs.
But if you can, go in for Philips they are the best.
And if you wont fog lamp do not go in for big round once they spoil the look of the car, rectangles look good IMHO.

i think the rectangular ones look way better... so does this mean that the ge bulbs in the clear lens headlamps will perform better than in the normal headlight?????? and are the ge ones more powerful and less reliable than the philips or less reliable AND less powerful???????
