buy the projectors for the swift. about 9-11k i think. and get a pair of 4300k 55w HIDs. that will solve your problem.

I know junta at teambhp will scoff at me, but I want sasta sundar tikau approach. Which is why:
Tip of the Iceberg by Thom Hogan sums up my philosophy. Replace dSLR with ICE/projectors etyadi

No seriously, are there no H8 HID installs in swift? LBM bhai ka hai na? And how expensive?

Bhai, the issue is HID in fogs are very in-competent in lighting... the only reason is the alignment level of the fogs

Better is to have a better bulbs i.e. higher wattage one or hids in main headlights may be not best sasta but definitely tikau and sunder.

thanku ash bhai, but NO HIDs in main headlights for me ever. Not my thang.

Chalo ji, will explore nightbreakers then. Was anyways planning min osram silverstar.

The other idea I had from a respected long term HID user:
A Cutout in the rt wing mirror, aimed to the left diagonally across the road some hundred ft away. And that will surely not blind any road user either.

The Brackets on bumper will look plain ugly, and not be high enough either!! Neither will be fogs.

Any idea where in Delhi/KB I can get some junta who can cleanly experiment and help setup the thing described above?

BUMP.

Also please tell me - which MASS will allow me to upgrade the dampers/rear springs - whatever is required for a softer ride - and at what expense - I don't intend to lose the warranty so will stay with a MASS for the same.

Given my bad back - just want to figure out the additional cost/MASS for the same - as well as dealers for lumbar support/beaded seat cover thingies in Delhi - or anything else which could help the comfort. I am best on a bike - but things have to change. So ideas, people?

Since they don't replace ANYTHING under warranty anyway, I don't think you'll have a problem; no MASS approval required

Had H7 8000k for a while.. that was just bling.

Now Im using 4300k H8 HID. Bought a regular kit locally and then got 4300k bulbs from abroad. High quality stuff not the cheapo bosche etc.

Without a projector in the fogs its not of much use. The reflector is too small to make full use of the HID bulb. Its good on dark roads and lights up the sides of the road.

Umm, update: Car is still in waiting. Argh. Now non-ABS. Damn the ABS kit shortage (and priority of VDI/ABS within that).

No contacts for underbody plate work?

BUMP!

Time to get back to the conversation.

I am thinking of upgrading to 90/100 bulbs. Will it affect my reflectors? I can manage without a HID for now. Bulb recommendations?

Skid plates have been pending and by the current look of things - will remain that way for some time to come - no time to drop the car for two days at Motorcraft/Raj Kapoor noida.

Has anyone gotten skid plates on their sedan/hatchback.
