Are you running anti-lag with your setup? You should be able to build good boost even during your sub-3-4k RPM launch.

no antilag installed as it kills the life of the turbo and engine.

Wow you evo looks amazing. Its almost the same color as my jeep. I feel the shade of orange are almost identical.

Don't know which ECU you're on, but quite a few offer GP (General Purpose) inputs and outputs. You can then use one of these switches to swith the antilag on/off. Useful when you don't want to blow your turbo, crack your exhaust manifold or destroy your exhaust valves and ports.

using haltech...i can have anti lag but choose not to the car is al ot quicker now anyway...worked on timming of cams and tuning ecm

The car is fairly reliable...if I do push it very hard for a while silly things like boost pipes coming off etc happens but overall it's nothing that can't be rectified.... I don't use it so often as I don't get much time to but when I do it puts a smile on my face
