Topic Changed

HI,
Have been following this post for a while now. Must say that design 5 is the best in my opinion.

Have a question for the moderators. Shouldnt the subjext be changed to which design is better or Sparco seats or something alike. I found no relevance to suspension upgrade in the last couple of posts here and feel that the topic has shifted.

Viper dude!!!
if you were really following the topic for a while you would've known that the topic was initially about my car getting a suspension upgrade......as i got more stuff i needed to share i just kept adding it to this topic instead of opening ten different topics about my car..........the thing is i dont mind if the title is changed......just saw no point in starting up ten different topics bout my car!!!

Hey there,

I meant no offense. Chilll its just that i entered at a later stage and by the time I saw the original post I realised what happened. For some reason I was unable to edit the post.

The ride has drastically improved as the older leaf springs had lost their flex after serving for 20 years!!!!
Ground clearance was up by an inch because the suspension now has return travel when the car is empty........Now im focusing on performance upgrades and for that im looking to Dragger to do the honours.......will be driving down to Bombay in the near future to have that done!!!!

Leaf springzzzzzzz!!!!

Seriously i think its how hard you drive, how much payload the leaf springs are constantly put under and then ofcourse time..........and i think twenty is plenty [couldn't resist the pun, twenty as in twenty years!!!!!]
Other wise i think Leaf springs should or must be changed at around 100,000kms...........
The price of the springs depend on the number of leafs.......
The two leaf Maruti 800[1989-94] cost between 2.5-3k..........mine on the other hand are fiberglass ones that are a rare find!!!!
