Once you have good projector lamps you cannot live with stock lamps. I tried the OE smoked out lights for a couple of months, Just cannot go back. I can get a projector setup in the OE lights but even in that case il be back to square one. Im happy with the lights its neither a subtle anways. I will work on the lights after a while now.

Custom projectors start from 10 to 25k depending on what option you need.

Its a daily drive. Hence no performance mods as diesel engines has its limitations. Once the engine get old enough will start playing on it.

I had put an after-market AIR FILTER once but i was experiencing a turbo lag soon enough

Same for the Tuning box, i have seen couple of engines running the box's give up sooner than the normal engine. Doesn't seem worth the gamble as of now. Free flow might think of but yet again the exhaust note is not that melodious

Well its a LED FLASH CONTROLLER attached to LED CLUSTER connected with the Rear fog light connection. It works when i switch it on only.

You can get these controllers from EBAY,China or Bangkok.

Re: Just another SWIFT DDIS!

Guys, I need a suggestion.

Ive got an itch to put back coilovers and lower the car down. But im afraid it would go horribly wrong again. Last time i just changed the springs with eibach and the car use to bounce off every pot hole.

Any one using coilovers in a swift diesel?

Re: Just another SWIFT DDIS!

Keeping this thread alive, Made some upgrades to the car.

1 - Changed the rockford subs with Rainbow audio SL-12 series x 2

2- Remapped the ECU with TDI Racing remaps. Gave the old tired engine some life back. Will post some videos soon.

3- Read tail lamps upgraded to version 4

Re: Just another SWIFT DDIS!

A video of the test run 0-100 done post the remap.

It feels more free post the remap. Its not all hell break loose performance, But yet it does restore by faith in Remaps, As the experience with tuning boxes were never that good.
