No offence, but the fonts look ricer-ish in my opinion. And it's illegal too.

Nevertheless, if you are happy with these styles, then go for it! If I'd to put a finger, I'll chose the fourth style.

P.S. - 'L' in 'DL' should be in capitals (upper case).

Yes, 'L' should be in capitals. And the Motor Vehicles Act states clear guidelines for the height and width of the letters in the font. Don't know about Delhi, but it is strictly enforced in Mumbai, unless you are a politician or a big shot tycoon .

Go with the 1st font it is not so jazzy looking and guess it will not offend the rules.

But After DL & CS put a (-) sign

Go for embossed no. on Aluminium + fibre plate. Cost 700/- in Lajpat nagar.

Also, go through the link for high security no. plates. While I was on a recent trip to Kala Amb, Himachal, visited their world class factory ( out of curiousity). I am not marketing for them but feel that these no. plates should be made mandatory.

Arial
Tahoma
Verdana

Best typeface for number plates.
Clean and easily readable/recognizable.

Go for standard font, or expect to get pulled over by cops.

Hi all,
Please go through the attached PDF to have an idea of the size and font recommended as per the Motor Vehicle Act. As a citizen we need to abide by these rules, at least try to.

Keep it simple, those flowery fancy fonts look really tacky :

I guess you are not allowed to have the Tiranga on your plate.

Breezy, someone took you for a ride. Rs.700 is way too much, this is a quote my friend got from Musicar in GK and he got the same for about Rs.550 in Lajpat Nagar about an year back. Not aware of the rate now but nowhere Rs.700 that too in the hub of license plates even if the prices have increased.
