When we spoke to the dealer he said that the Michelin's were of a much softer compound & the tyre burst due to excessive heat. We recently replaced the tyres of Bridgestone. I used to drive really fast. However recently have slowed down a lot. Still do constant 120 on Mumbai Pune etc. On other roads cannot do faster because ride quality is bad. In case there is someone who has used both ER-60 and G III Potenza, please suggest the difference on two aspects:
1. How much improvement in ride quality. Is it really too much better?
2. How much does it affect handling?
In terms of ride quality, what would be better 185/70 R14 ER-60 or 165/80R14 S248?
