it happened on the tambaram road .

actually, they crashed two roofless mercs...one was this C class, and the other was (i think) and old SLK modified to look like a CLK.

they did use a silver CLK cabrio... but that particular day, the chase scene was on.... on another day, there were three such mercs: two wrecked ones,( one for the chase scenes, and another, they loaded it on the roof of a trucks container and made it spin!!!) and the other was the actual CLK...

if you didnt get the spinning part, just watch the movie. its kinda hard to explain..

I can't understand what's the problem with this director. Is he mad or something? If it was his money, would he have done these insane stuffs?

Expect a lot more than this in the movie.
SANKAR ROCKZZ!!!

What is the big deal foby? if the movie is a hit(which i assume it will be) they can surly recover the cost. I like rajini, specially because of the fan following here in kerala.

Yup, and that was one of the reason for this movie to change hand from Ayngaran to Sun production.

I am surprised to see a for this. Probably you are not aware of SHANKAR.

Yep. I did notice this and also the first time the robot drives the car, he crashes it into the median, there is good visible damage shown on the screen to the RH front fender, headlamps,etc. but the very next scene they show a clean car. How could they afford a goof-up like this in such a hyped movie?

LOL. I am very well aware. Refer my above post and rewrite your last statement.

Volvo -> AL
CLK -> SLK
LandCruiser Prado -> Scorpio (Shivaji), etc.

There is no SLK.
Its CLK for all the usual scenes and for the action scenes, its a C-class sedan modified to look like the original CLK. Roof chopped, red seats, roll bar, dummy tailights and rear door handles blanked off ..but you can see the cutline of the rear door.
