On other words, they've created a "Frankenstein Monster". LOL

Frankensteins have always been the ultimate performance benchmarks in the Honda world. Take a workhorse, heavily built block, slap on a nutter head from a Type-R or similar, drop it into a lightweight oldass car and wallah! Performance that Honda should have always provided were it not for the environment and efficiency people.

Hi,

no its not mine! It belongs to a friend named Surya whose car has also been done at RaceDynamics!

As far as the RD ECU is concerned, you can swap it onto any other mpfi car I beleive. You can check with RaceDyanmics directly.

For the gearbox, yea, you can try some mix match like the suzi's, but I aint a expert in that so maybe you can ask the other tech guru's about it.

But again, let me reinstate, if you say that your car will only see the strip, the Zen with a vtec engine is the way to go!!

Cheers
Shrey

Does the ECU support coil-on-plug setups?

I just have one thing to add here. The HONDA is engineered to handle the power it delivers. in this case 100HP or so. The Zen isnt. Simple. Its all about engineering here.

Well, as far as it is OEM it is good to take risk. Reason being it is assembled and tested with High quality tests and japs can be trusted blindly for their QA.

Whatever it be wether B-Zen or E-Zen, it is a created by aftermarket installers. This ain't mean aftermarket installers aren't good, they might be best at their work but still a lag behind the original company one. Has it been a B-Zen or E-zen available as commercial product, it might had loosen pants of honda vtec at any stage.

My vote goes for VTEC Honda.
