It will cost around 1 lakh or so! Power will be around 40bhp or something more depending on responsiveness of your engine!

Depends from engine to engine. But i dont think FE should drop since Pyscho has tried it on his conti and considering the engine is 1.8 mill from HM the FE incresed, so it should increase even on a Opel Corsa. Buttt Corsa engine is very sensitive and can blow up!!

Also with your car giving 7 kpl its really astounding. Why dont you put LPG and then NOS. Problem solved for 60K. 25K for LPG and a NOS EFI Kit(35bhp on tap) will set you back by another 35K!

Get a LHS mirror from a local side garage. Will come for less then 1000Rs.

corsa doesnt have a strong engine block ..i dont think adding a blower is of much use ,you'll end up friying the rings or something..
not too responsive to engine modds ..
see how it feels after the modding ..
i suggest you get a Air induction kit instead of the K&N filter..couple it with a decent exhaust system.. the throttle will lighten up a lot.

Hey, this makes sense.

Q1> can you recommend specifics. (air induction kit and exhaust).
Q2> anyone in Mumbai who I can trust to do this without making a mess.

Hi guys,
My Corsa 1.4 gives me around 8.5 to 9 kmpl. I've got Iridium plugs, an FSE fuel pressure regulator, K&N cold air induction kit, 4x2x2 free flow exhausts and that too with 2mm throttle body expansion. If you don't do the throttle body expansion, it should give you at least 9 to 9.5 with the other mods. The iridium plugs in particular help quite a lot.

One problem i have is at lower RPM, upto 2k, the response is pretty sllugish. I have no idea about this air induction kit. Is this 57i kit that sAP was talking about?? Will this help in improving this low end???

This is exactly what my wife tells me. She has to rev it beyond 2K which make the ride noisy to get teh car to go. I want her to have a quieter ride and get the power she needs at lower revs.

My corsa flies the moment I foot the pedal. But the mods done were quite extensive. The low end sluggishness was solved by a 2mm throttle body expansion and an FSE fuel pressure booster. But keep in mind that these mods were done purely for performance (drags and stuff). If your wife's car is just used for daily driving, I suggest you stay away from it. Try getting a cold air induction kit and free flow exhausts from 4 seasons. That'll reduce the low end sluggishness quite a bit.
