Pete's or Race Dynamics for Getz CRDI

Hi Guys.

My Pocket rocket has clocked 16Kms, so have finally decided to add a tuning box. my first thought was pete's. so much talk about it everywhere. but now we have a new kid on the block da race dynamics XM400. Not to many users for it so that why i decided to check with u guys which one would be the best.

Pete's is basically a tried n tested box so many reviews n so many happy users. but a bit expensive at 28K. But on the other hand the RD box is a bit cheaper on the pocket 24K is what it sells for. but not many reviews but something which really got me think about the RD box is that its fully made in india and each map is tested on the exact same car its gonna be used on, taking in consideration the quality of fuel, dusty conditions,etc , whereas the pete's in fully imported.

Which one should i go for..??

I'd say PETES BOX, just for the fact that its been around and its totally tried and tested. KPZEN, a fellow tbhp member has been successfully running a getz crdi on the box and has clocked some serious mileage. The important part here is "without any problems"

My pocket rocket has done 12k and i'm considering to get a Petes BOX soon.

Both are top-notch boxes and one can't go wrong with either. Petes is well covered on the forum; Here's two reviews on Getz crdi's running Race Dynamics:

Since you are in Goa, what's most important to you is local support. Petes has two dealers in your state, Race Dynamics has none.

Well now even petes has one as one guy closed down due to none payments. actually RD has come to Goa through a n1 engineering dealer. already got the pipercross stock replacement filter done... was also cool with the RD box is u can change the settings on the fly with makes it very convenient.
