Yes its available here.

Would suggest importing an Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited from powerbulbs.co.uk . They usually have a 20% off offer running and they are 100% original. You will find a lot of fakes in India.

I personally am using them on my Duster and I can see a significant improvement in visibility compared to stock lights. Just ensure they are focused properly.

Replaced incandescent W5W stock bulbs in high mount stop light of our Wagon R Vxi to Philips T10 LED. I tried Osram T10 LEDs first, but the reflector is designed in such a way that light from bulbs must have a good spread in order to light up the entire reflector cavity and not a strong forward focus as is with Osram LEDs; thus I switched to Philips T10 LEDs with 360 degree coverage. Earlier consumption was 20 watts, which has got down to mere 4 watts for this stop light.

This 75W/75W H4 would have been a worthy upgrade for alto, what with it's battery. I would NOT know where can I source the same in B'lore.

Are there any other headlight upgrades possible for our humble alto?

Yes, I've use something similar and it was bad. Its the basics of lighting when the glass is tinted with any colour it restricts the actual lumens produced. Always go with clear glass. In the case of HID's its the gas and the temperature that results in the colour and not the colour of the glass on the bulb.

I guess if you have to go with something like this it definitely has to be 130/100 to make up for the loss of lumens.

Already have 130/100.

This was just a spur of the moment purchase. Looks like that is money gone.

Had done something similar a long time back - bought a xenon gas filled bulb which was all good during normal times, but come fog or rain - just a white wall in front; absolutely no visibility and absolute mess!!! :Frustrati

Ideally fog lights should always be yellow for best vision in those conditions as the whiter the light the more its absorbed and negated by fog and rain. So the yellow bulbs need to be 130/100 I say.

In fact I've used the Hella 130/90 and found those to be inferior to the Philips Rally 130/100 because their light was whiter even though the glass was clear.

Looking to upgrade my Ciaz Headlamps. Procured H7 100W Osram Bulbs and went to a local electrician. The relay kit he was trying to put was not compatible with the socket available in the car. He said he will have to make cuts, and use the relay he has.

Pls advise, are there any tailormade relay kits available for Ciaz headlamps, so that i can carry out a upgrade without cutting the existing wires?
