Is there a possibility that Mahindra can deliver shock pricing to try and grab some attention away from RE twins? Considering that Mojo starts at around 1.5 lakh with rear discs, may be Jawa can get introductory price of 1.2 lakh or even less. That would at least give some hope. A price closer to Mojo and the bike would definitely be dead-on-arrival.

As suggested by the released sketches 3 variants have been unveiled. The live streaming on youtube is of terrible quality, I can make out a Bobber, Scrambler and the standard version seen in spy images.

Models are called:
Jawa
Jawa 42
Pirag (I am not sure about the spelling). This is apparently a factory custom, would be available later.

Live Unveil

Looks Good I would say

What a poor presenter, flat and incorrect grammar.
The crowd too come across as bored.

The bikes look good bar the rear drum brakes.

Such a boring and monotonous presentation, whereas the REs had hit the ball out of the park yesterday with their engaging presentation.

Edit: The engines are BS6 ready. clap:

3 Colours for Classic:Jawa Black, Jawa Maroon, Jawa Grey.
6 Colours for 42: Hally's Teal, Galactic Green, Starlight Blue, Lumos Lime, Nebula Blue and Comet Red

Jawa Perak, the design is based off the old Perak which was a simmer version of the Jawa.

On the other hand , I liked how they gave us an insight on how this project took off. Now waiting to see how they price it.

Price- Jawa- 1,64,000/- ex-Delhi
Jawa 42- , 1,55,000/-

Such a sad presentation- there is no spark, enthusiasm. How did they pick this bunch to present a product that has its task cut out?

A bunch of confused and bored old men talking about a motorcycle. The presenter is panting into the mike too, with all that effort.

The guy who gave out the pricing seemed so apologetic about what they wanted to charge. Tharian got the first question :)

Chewing gum and getting the price wrong, said on-road first and I was like Woahhhh. Quite a debacle this launch is !

Pricing is a dampener.

Jawa at 1.64 lakh
Forty Two at 1.55 lakh

Higher than expected. So many options at this price point. Wonder what will pull customers other than a bit of nostalgia.

Factory customised 3rd variant is 'Perak' and priced at 1.89 Lakhs

I saw it without audio. On screen it was shown 1,55,000 and 1,64,000 respectively for Jawa 42 and Jawa. Not sure whether it is OTR or Ex-showroom.

Colours of the Jawa bikes

The Perak looks fab.

Are they serious about the launch ceremony or is it just that they are yet to come out of the Interceptor price shock? This is the first question which came to my mind after watching the launch ceremony. No enthusiasm and whoever came up with this idea of ceremony should be fired, just pathetic to say the least.

Coming to the pricing, it looks to be in expected range and need to see how much classic charm might turn into sales.

Absolutely did the smart thing, his gum chewing is so annoying and unprofessional. Anyways, yeah the price is indeed Ex-showroom Delhi. He first announced it as 1,55,000 for Jawa ON-ROAD ! The second guy corrected him, but yeah it is ex-showroom Delhi.
