The bike looks renewed and the looks are more chiseled.
I am sure this should be a better option to the existing 150 for a new buyer.. but I definitely don't see this as an upgrade. It is a more refined version.

Its time we see some 250s+, YAMAHA are you listening?

The RTR should redefine the 150 segment. 270mm rotor on a 160? Superb. Nice levers too. Wish HH had the ingenuity of TVS R&D...we'd be seeing 400cc transverse four's by now...

@highwayblaze; I believe those are also called as "petal discs"...supposed to dissipate heat more effectively...and an Indian first, on the Apache..

How did they increase the WB, longer swingarm? That would make the bike less flickable though.

Yes it has a longer swingarm. Theoritically it should make it less flickable and heavier handling but we'll know about the handling after it's raced around the track. Still the bike dimensions are pretty compact for a 150.

Nice pics!

Was wondering how they'd become taller! Every main parts are same, right?

A friend of mine came back raving from a TD of the Apache 160. He was repeating "Awesome man Awesome" innumerable times. All I got other than that from him was the price - Rs 65000 OTR Vashi.

The bike does look tall in that pic. Maybe the person riding it was simply short! But NC, 65K! On one hand we have Tata working hard to launch a Rs.1 lakh car which can transport 4 people in relative comfort and safety, while on the other our bike manufacturers are selling a 160cc 12hp economy bike for more than half a lakh rupees!

Is it just me or is something is really wrong here. Are our 2 wheeler makers taking us all on a ride? Surely seeing the number of motorcycles they produce in the 100-150cc range, the prices should be far far lower.
