Have you ever felt that the bike runs too hot / lean?
Yes, it does. Felt like my Himalayans engine, and a friend who owns the 2022 BS6 J series said the same.

Re: 2023 Royal Enfield Classic 350 | Chrome Red | The Comprehensive Review

Hi dkaile

Have you considered fixing the GMA touring foot-rests on your Classic?

The international Youtubers have rated them highly for their superior comfort on long rides, although they look really clumsy. I am tempted to get a set for my Bullet. As you have an HD as well, I am guessing you have experience using larger foot-rests / foot-boards.

Just wanted to know your thoughts. Thanks!

Stiff Suspension on bullet

Hello team..... I own a 2020 Royal Enfield Bullet 350. I weigh 100 Kgs. I have issue with the suspensions (both front and back). For the back suspension, I replaced it with the Classic 350 (old model) suspension. This I got from Royal Enfield spare part store itself. I am really not sure if it is better than before.

I definitely sure that the front suspension is terrible. Has anyone else faced and fixed this problem. Please help. The ride exp now is terrible. It is my weight or there is actually an issue.

2nd Service - 2467kms - 17-04-2025

The bike had been ridden quite less but since nearly 2 years had passed from the last service, it was time to get that done with 2467kms on the odo.

The bike on the service lift -

The service labour was given complimentary to me, with the owner being a friend. One of the main tasks also covered was that I got both the front and rear brake fluid changed. Sorry but forgot to take any photos of that. Still the total bill was only Rs. 1242/- (which included 250 bucks for 200ml of brake fluid). Quite reasonable I would say -

This Classic 350 is truly a masterpiece and I don't mince my words having the best bikes in my garage. I would rate it even higher than the Classic 650 that they have recently launched for it's light, maneuverable and trouble free nature. A ideal bike equally at home while touring or maneuvering the small by-lanes in your city even with your Mrs. on board.

Cheers...

Own a 2022 Halcyon Green Reborn. Have completed over 61,500 kms in the last 3 years and 3 months.
It is a gem of a bike. Daily commutes, long rides, roads, no roads it can go handle it all. It's a keeper.

Your service experiences attest to the practical and budget friendly nature of the motorbike. And you put it really well at the end. I am surprised how most people, including reviewers, don't give more weightage to just this aspect of practicality. I have the Bullet 350, and it's multi-role character is impressive. Install a cloth side bag and go buy groceries every day. Put saddle bags and it turns into a lovely touring machine. Turning in tight lanes and high traffic is easy given the ideal wheelbase.

I do wish that the torque was a bit better. Passing at higher speeds requires a bit of planning. In fact, I am curious to see what they do with the second iteration of the 350 cc J-series. If they bore it out to 400 cc, it could be all that one needs.

Do you have some feedback on the seat? Do you feel the need to install a touring seat?

Re: 2023 Royal Enfield Classic 350 | Chrome Red | The Comprehensive Review

Haven't installed touring seat. Still using the stock seat. It is good enough for about 150kms at a stretch. But for really long rides like 500-600 kms one side-one day ride, I have purchased a memory foam seat from amazon. This is the link to it.https://amzn.in/d/3rK4YV6
It is from a brand called Fovera.
It really helps a lot. No more butt aches. I have been using it for the last 30,000 km approx. The quality is also really good.

Re: 2023 Royal Enfield Classic 350 | Chrome Red | The Comprehensive Review

Hello. I seem to be having problems with the battery. Can you, or others, share your experiences of the battery performance?
From what I know these are maintenance-free batteries and don't need any topping-up. Yet, my bikes battery seems to have suddenly discharged to below the threshold and the engine refuses to fire up. Only the lights are working fine.
Have you shifted to a new battery during these past few years or ownership? Did you go with the RE brand, or a third party?
Any tips on maintaining these newer batteries?
Thanks.

All new motorcycles in this day and age come with maintenance free VRLA batteries. I am on my original one without any issues two years down the line. Check for any wire cuts or accessories installed causing the battery drain. The original one is a co-branded one made by Exide - ETZ-9. I would stick with Exide, though you can procure it directly from a Exide dealer, which may be cheaper. Also Amaron one's seem to be equally good. You can put your bike on a trickle charger if your usage is very low.

Battery removed to attach a SAE battery charging lead for a trickle charger, though I have never felt the need to attach one -

Thanks for the quick response. In fact, the mechanic found out that the issue is because of a rat trying to set up house inside the battery compartment. The thing has eaten away the starter cable and I've had to get it replaced.

I was lucky in that it's not eaten through the nylon cabling of the main sensor wires. Otherwise, it sppears I would have to get the entire wiring replaced at a big cost. You can see in damage in one of the photos.

There is, however, a breakage of some kind at the edge of the battery. The mechanic says I'll need to get a new one as the gases may leak from this gap. What do you suggest?

Thanks!

Yes, never use a damaged battery like the one in your picture. It may lead or already has a short circuit inside. The new battery is not very costly. Get it changed immediately.

Cheers...
