Super charged Fiero

Did a raw run on fiero and expectedly has carburettion issues.Presently it is mounted on the magnet cover and is a roots type.Once other issues are sorted ,will check the boost. This was made to bench mark so as to get a relation between swept volume and the engine size to the boost pressure.Once done the later ones will be screw type and will be mounted in place of the air box.
cheers

it looks good... you should get it dynoed... so planning to to use a belt drive now for relocating the system? Be careful this type of setup tend to create imbalance no the crank at least it on the yamaha, I don't about fiero...keep up the good work, and keep us posted, would like to do something like this to a pulsar when I get time...

Superb Job Venu. Got some questions for you.
  • Why not leave the carb in its original position and feed the supercharged air into it. In your setup you are running fuel into the supercharger !!!
  • What boost did you plan for and what are you achieving.
  • Is that a flex pipe from car exhaust you are using.
  • Dosent Hydraulic drive system have a lot of losses. Can it handle 7000 rpm?

I was discussing options of supercharging a 600cc and everyone just turned down the idea.
This is good news,venugopal.Thumbs up.
But, one thing, can u dyno this and post the map here?
