Almost all Bajaj ads are fantastic - Caliber, XCD, Pulsar, Discover, Wind... you name it. The original "Humara Bajaj" was easily the best. Apart from that, TVS Shogun, Shaolin beach ad, Samurai and Supra "Ride of your life" were nice. Also like the current FZ ad. The CBZ ad with Dino and Lara was good.

The Pulsar ads. Heck, the original DTSi ad had me completely sold. Got me self a similar Flame red Pulsar.
But for overexposure, the Pulsar Mania was one of the best ads ever.
Can anyone shed more light on the '80s ads ? Especially the Yezdi one with Ravi Shastri?
The 'feel like god' was excellent too!

Anyone remember the Rajdoot ads?
Funniest was "Rajdoot - Ek Jaandaar Sawari, Ek Shaandaar Sawari" starring Dharmendra.
Another one was the Sholay soundtrack one with Dilip Dhawan.
"Yeh Bullet Meri Jaan" was another old ad I can think of.
Man, school days were fun!

Hamara Bajaj

I tried searching for Rajdoot ad, KB125 ad, Shogun ad and the RX100 "Ahead of the 100s" ad but couldn't find it. If anyone get those ads do post it here.

Some of the print ads in the 80s and early 90s were simple and effective. Let me check my archives (old issues of auto magazines carefully preserved and prevented from being given away to the old newspaper fellow) and see if I can photograph some print ads and put them up here.

Yamaha print ads have always been good and to the point. In their 2-stroke days.
The RX100 ad was simply a shot of the bike with the tagline "Ahead of the 100s."
The RXG's ad said - "Its the same road. Why does it feel different on a Yamaha?"
The RD350 ad had a simple, powerful tagline - 'India's first and only two-stroke, twin-cylinder, six-speed, 350cc motorcycle" How true even today!

When the 100cc bikes were in their heyday, Royal Enfield released a super ad for the Bullet:

Let the boys have their toys.
In a man's world, it takes a man's bike.
The Enfield Bullet.

In my school days when our factory manager's Bajaj Chetak would break down (he would come to pick me & my brother up from tuition's at times) and we would have to drag it to the mechanic, we would sing the song from the old commercial albeit with a twist!

"Hamara Bajaj, Khatara Bajaj!!!"

I think almost all Bajaj Ad's have been nice, notables one are the DTSi introduction adverts, the Pulsar mania, Caliber Unshakeable and the avenger feel like god. They have always delivered when it comes to marketing without hiring any costly celebs except for the Discover launch campaign with Jackie Chan.

Hamaara Bajaaj. One of the best Indian Ads, hence it by default is the best Indian 2 wheeler commercial.

Any one remember ad of RX100 where one guy races with one girl driving sports car and while racing he goes out of the road but again comes back with bang and wins the race and ofcource the gal and the back ground music was from Top Gun.
RD350 never came in TV but saw few in megazines, calenders and news papers and the punch line was "For those who lives their Dreams" and i am living my dream.
