part no 1 : engine/ crankshaft bearings.
part no. 2 : gear selector shaft.
part no.3 : kicker shaft
part no 4 : gear "push " rod.
part no 5 : first gear cog
part no 6&7 : engine mounting rubbers/beddings.

other than these i need the following :
1 set of rings
2 gudegeon pin
3 packing kit
4 oil seals
5 carb inlet manifold.
6 front brake master and wheel cylinder kits
7 set of all cables
8 set of indicators
9 gear palls and spring.
10 "dx" model side panels and rear mudguard.
11 brake pads

i know this is a huge list of mostly non existant parts . i will be happy find atleast some of the above parts with everybody's help. what i dont find i will make do with what ever i already have.
Some O.E's & Some alternatives:
1) Do not ask for Fury crank bearings.....just take the sample to the Exclusive
Bearing retail shop ( at Chennai or Mumbai)ask them, sure its available in "Swedan SKF",but may not be readily availble,....order and get it.
2) Stuffs like Packing kit ,has to be made
3) Reg Oil seals..............get as per sample from decent " Industrial Oil seal dealars"
4) Cables.............easy to find substiutes from the new gen bikes
5) If you need master cylnder washers & caliper washers,......that too get it from "Oil seal & O ring" dealars.
Other parts.....as on date...no idea,let me try.
ps: Confirm me......pm me

Hi

These are standard ULO indicators, Zundapp used them on pretty much every model fitted with indicators (except for K80, KS 80 Super and KS 80 Sport). Widely and cheaply available in Germany

Kind regards.....

Hmmm.. pretty lucky to find all these parts. Hope they were genuine... especially the selector shaft..

I also got a bunch of parts for my bike from Delhi, Coimbi and Blr.. but many turned out to be fake.. waste of money :(

Repurchased most, but still havent got a kick lever spring..

who's doing up the bike? Mine is with R in Kmangala.. (and is going to be buried there I think

Hi

The kick lever spring is identical to the one in the Explorer, in case it is easier for you to find one such. Indeed the kick starter itself, while not identical in looks, will fit just fine. The kick starter on my KS 175 broke twice and each time, during the time it took to have it welded, i temporarily replaced it with one from a C50 Sport, worked just fine.

Kind regards.

Hi Thanh,

Actually I did get the explorer spring. But it seems to be weaker than the KS175 ... the return is pretty limp and I suspect it wont last long..

Hence the search for the Fury spring..

Hi

Actually the springs are indeed identical, same part number in Zundapp part catalogue. I have practical experience, as mentioned it happened to me before - the entire kick starter assembly from the Explorer (Zundapp CS 50) can be used on the Fury (Zundapp KS 175). Actually pretty much all Zundapp models with the pushrod gearboxes and 3 to 5 gears use identical kick starters and springs, only the rear plate differs between some of the older models (old Sport Combinette and Falconette with fan cooling), anything from type 517 (late 60's) onward is identical right to the last 1984 GTS 50 five-speed (type 529). That of course includes the KS 100, KS 125 and KS 175 in all versions and others where such engine was used (GS and MC models, Laverda LZ 125).

You may need to wind the spring one more turn which is a little tricky as the spring loves to slip out of the retainer (correct word..?) on the rear plate. I don't know how to correctly explain in English. I often spend considerable time getting that spring in there as i had to change kick starters on customer's mopeds quite often. Wear some sort of goggles when handling that spring, if it does come out it does so fiercely

Kind regards.....
