There was a Passion Plus beside me at the signal with a disc brake. I asked him how much he had spent for the disc setup. He replied Rs 2000. I asked him how come?! He said it was a company fitted option.

Wow. A very nicely done bike. With the Yamaha reliability, this should last you a long time. I have a RX135, which is currently in a sad state. Keeping it with me until I find time and money to bring it back to the old glory.

Congrats.

New clutch plates and pressure plates out as well, so mechanically the bike is perfect. Now will come the all new panels

Hey BalenoPower, great looking RXZ there. Please give us more details of the disc brake set-up and costs.
Are the Malaysian panels you've got something like these? These were taken on a recent trip to KL. Gladdened my heart to see many RXZs around (also in Thailand). I spoke to the guy who owned this one. This is a 6 speed 21 bhp version!! Apparently a very popular street racer there. Many popular Malaysian street racing and bike gang films have been made on this

Hey phrozenfire, the entire front disc setup including the fork, the disc's nuts bolts etc came up to around 8k. The panels i have got are indian ones only. its just teh headlight which is from the malaysian rxz. The pics of the bikes you have put up look simply stunning.

Its a stunning bike
Where did you source the panels from? AFAIK, white panels haven't been available for quite some time now. Or are you planning on buying some other colour and getting them painted? I've been looking around for a maroon engine guard for my RXZ for ages!

Ze beautifull RXZ rides equally beautifully. It felt as if it had just returned from its very first service.

I want it man.

Here she is, new discs, new spokes n rims. new panels will be shod as soon as the tank is touched up. The front number plate keeps hitting the mudguard so that will go and inplace will come a sticker. New clutchplates installed as well so she's popping wheelies all over.
