Ze beautiful RX-Z aquired - and Now restored(pics on page 6)

hey guys, just wanted to share my dream finally coming true. I've been wanting this bike ever since i was in college and i finally have her now. Its a '97 or a '98 model. I have yet to chk the RC book properly. 42 odd K on the clock and a super sweet 4-speed gearbox. The deal happened within an hour at 12 am in the night and i had to leave for Pune the very next day, so i have barely got to spend any time with her. But im just as excited as i was when i bought my previous Fiero F2 or my current ZMA. While the Zma pretty much takes care of my needs its been all of 4 years since i have had her and she has been exploited to the max. i really needed a change, a secondary change. Like i said the deal happened in an hour and for the price i paid for my dream made the deal, the 'Steal of the Century'(pm me if you want to know the price). Needs a lot of cosmetic touch ups. There is rust in places, needs a repaint. Engine as much as i rode it felt like the smoothest two stroke i have ridden. The dynamics too are brilliant which means the bike hasnt taken any major falls.Even the panels are perfect. The previous owner has put a stupid handlebar which needs to be replaced. Tyres need a replacement as well. Will get her in top notch shape pretty soon. Here are a few pics i clicked before i left for pune early morning the nxt day. More to follow once im down for the weekend.

Congrats man, the old gen Yams were in a class of themselves. I know as I belong to the generation which saw them brand new. Have lots of fun.

Cheers

CONGRATS on the RX dude !!
Looks well kept and nice color combo.

I too have the RX 135.
I feel no other bike (new or old) can beat the RX series when it comes to the fun factor.
The combination of its crisp power delivery, nimble handling and light weight is unbeatable.

Incidentally one of my friends is desperately looking for one, either the RX or RX-Z.
During your search, if you have come across another good bike for sale, please provide me the contact number. Thanks & enjoy your RX-Z.

Congrats, and enjoy the bike. The white and red is a brilliant colour combination.

Make her 5 speed, install front disc break along with RXK bore kit and you'll have a 18 BHP beast on hands.

Not RXG. That was the restricted version. Then came the RX135 & RX135 5S. You need head of the RX135 5S and the 5th gear to make it like the new RXZ. Of course the other differences are the silencer, disc brake and paint job.

Which model is RXK. Never launched in India. I guess you are referring to the model sold in Thailand. The mods I mentioned above will make it 14 BHP.
