My friends brother bought a second owner 1997 model bullet for Rs 36000/- .I inspected it the engine is in excellent condition recently serviced ,need a change of battery and some painting work to be don.
Probably if u change the battery then u can just put petrol and run bullet .

Also came across an yamaha Rx 100 1991 model for Rs 15000/- single owner excellent condition,negotiating this for my close pal Nan a team bhpian.

I saw this Bike the engine seems to be fine ,tyres are good but needs a change of tank,handle bar and chasis painting .Needs a lot of cosmetic changes only .Has done 75K kms on the odometer.

My Experience with the Prices of Bajaj Pulsar 180 2006 last to 2007(UG3?) model from used bike sellers in My town. Prices from 32K-40K maximum.Most of the bikes covered over 30000kms in odo.And the price this used bike dealers quote is usually 2000-3000rupees higher than normal going price.
I had bought a 2006 June(IIRC) Pulsar 180 from such a shop for Rs35000.Analog Meter model(UG2.1) and all service details was available.Bike was indeed in good condition.But Some Claims these shops screw off good parts for duplicates or worn out parts.Still to Experience such a thing.
I had a 2001 September Hero Honda CBZ bought for 23000.Sold out in huge loss at 19000 before going for My New Ride(RTR180).

Hero Honda Bikes retains Very good used prices ,since most of these commuters are interested in mileage.for eg: a CD Deluxe(Forgot the year) for Rs 28000 or so while You can get a power bike for that Price.

Caveat:These are My Experiences at Used Bike Shops.Pulsars,Apache's(150cc model) are available cheaper here,mostly due to All the Two Wheeler dealerships Sells the bikes exchanged for very cheap rates to used bike dealers(is what I understand).Don't Know if it so in other places.

Please reply quick... How much should a 2004-2005 Karizma cost?? Which has done roughly about 35000 kms... Keep in mind i am in bangalore... N prices are lil crazy here... Is it a good buy if bought for 40,000??

sold my 1yr old (2008model) 12500kms done zma for 65K, here in mumbai.
i had purchased it fr 86500.
this should give you some reference.

If the bike in question is an early or mid 2004 model, buy it for whatever you can negotiate below 40K. The first batch from 2003 through mid 2004 were the most well built karizmas, then came thee massive price and cost cutting to match the price cut.

I have been looking for a used bullet 500 CI in either Bangalore or Hyderabad. 500s are hard to come by in Hyderabad, so looking in Bangalore as well. What is a good price for a 2004 Bullet 500 CI with ~15000 kms on the ODO?

Hi Guys ,

Need help regarding buying a Royal Enfield . Its been the lying in my cousins building for quite sometime.Its rusted , dead and not used for ages. The owner says the engine is in working condition , say's he fire's it up once a month or so (cant trust him on this) . He says he wants to sell it but hasnt quoted anything yet .

I've posted some pics below , i hope guys get some idea in what state it is right now .
1 . first of all should i get into this or not , would it be worth it ?
2 . How much should he quote for it ? (just rough clue)

3 . How much should it cost to put the Bull back to life again ?

It would be really helpful if some bullet experts from Mumbai help me in this

same here , me too looking for a 500cc CI bull,
can some one give a rough idea how much a 500cc CI bull decently maintained cost??

also any idea if any RE dealer has stock leftover of these bulls??

the expenses to restore it would be around 25-35K.

I wouldn't go for it,a simple calculation

its rusted all over,also it seems to be modified before,so you have to take that into consideration.

chances are slim for its engine to be good.

paint job,chromium,worn parts replacement,making it back to good state will surely cost you minimum 40,000rs

instead you can buy a good running condition bullet anywhere in India,later take up any mod jobs required.

Between 45k-55k depending on condition for a 2 year old ZMA.

I had sold my 13.5k run 2005 Karizma for 52k to a dealer after 2 years.
