From where you got to know that it has been rescheduled to 30th?

A friend of mine works for Mahindra. according to him the event has been rescheduled to the 30th. I am not sure tho.

The Bikes launch event has been rescheduled on 30th September, 2010. It is going to be at a 5 Start Hotel in Bandra.

Guess what ? Aamir Khan might unveil the bikes !

Diablo is not there in the list of Mahindra "Guess the Bike Name" Contest.

Going by this, only Cevalo seems to be the real one as of now.

What do you say guys ?

Sorry to diasappoint u guys...

I had been to the Pithampur plant of the Mahindras.. saw the manufacturing like aswell.. the bike which was being made was not 300 cc.. it was not even 150 cc.. n it is nowhere similar to the Cevalo by SYM..

Doesn't the news reports say that there will be 300 cc and also a much smaller mass market commuter bike? So, is it possible that you saw the latter one?

Very interesting indeed but IMO the bike doesn't really look nice to me in this particular pose.Lets see when other pictures come up tomorrow.

The overall body design seems to be confused with a motard! the seat merging into the tank. as well as the suspension travel seem like its a confused motard.Was supposed to be a motard but they did the indian jugaad and lowered it into a street bike.Very Wierd.

Well the price is the main point here.This can be bought if sensibly priced and then converted into any kind of bike.I would make it a proper On/Off motard with botl on raised suspension like a friend Arjun has on his Karizma with imported BMW suspension.A nice Ladakh Raider.Fingers crossed on the engine reliability!

I couldn't agree more. This is ugliness taken to an all new level. Mahindra should have gone conservative instead of trying to be a rockstar. Now there is no turning back the tide. Most successful new launches have played it safe: look at the Figo, etc.

.Its neither a tourer ,nor a city bike , nor a track bike . Very cut and paste ,awkward job by mahindra .I pity them to have come up with this . Now the name ! , hey where's your MOJO ?

This isnt a scoop, the details have been released officially. 292cc four stroke liquid cooled fuel injected engine, 26 bhp and 24 nm. The fuel injection system by the way is by Ducati!

To me it looks like an alien ride, you either just love it or hate it..

20 kw@8.5k rpm top power, is this a mahindra developed engine?
