I have completed 63000 km on my etios vd within the last 3 years of ownership. Recently replaced a radiator fan as it was getting noisy. Other than that brake pads at 55k kms and front windshield due to a crack in it. Overall happy with the car. I have also changed the oem bridgestone turanza er300 at 62k kms with Yokohama earth 1 of size 185/65 R15 ( http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3602065) . That has improved the ride.

Might just get a better deal + the Etios petrol is a lot more fun to drive!
As an update, I've done 22k in a year and a month in the diesel Etios. Very frugal, very comfy, and very stable. Like a friend said "What ya, were you holding travelling for this car only?".. I guess yeah.. . Its not flashy. Its worked out pretty frugal. At no point ever have I felt "Wow, that's expensive". I did feel that at times with the 800.

Again, I recently drove a petrol etios. Yep. Fun. More fun than diesel . But i love my greytip.

Re: Toyota Etios Diesel : Test Drive & Review

I recently bought a second hand 2014 Etios petrol sedan. Water seeps into the car's boot whenever I try to wash it or when it is left in the rain. There does not seem to be any leaking inside the cabin, it is the just the boot. Anyone here faced similar problems? I still have one more year warranty left with the car and I am going to take the car to the service center this week.

Hi karuvally

Looking at the date, this seems to be quite a late query.
But wanted to know if you were able to get it fixed? how was your experience with the second hand purchase?

Hi Guys,

This is for one a friend who had a 2018 Etios GD. It's mainly used by his father and he wanted to install an infotainment system that integrates the reverse cam as well. Any model reference / help in this regards is greatly appreciated. TIA

Hi EV Fan,
The issue was due to the improperly fitted tail-lamps. Once we got that sorted in the workshop, the water seepage stopped.
