In around 2020, after the launch of nios and aura cng, there were many customers complaining about engine not switching over to cng automatically after a cold start, engine misfire, severe drop in power and pickup while the car is in motion, etc. I hope those issues have been resolved now but it seems these issues did persist for quite sometime and it required multiple visits to hyundai service centre and even to CEV company.

Has your brother or anyone else you may know, who owns a hyundai cng car, faced any problem related to the cng system of the car?
He has not faced any such issue till now. ODO reading stands at around 13K kms. Sometimes after a cold start, it takes some time to switch to CNG mode, otherwise everything is fine. The switch from petrol to CNG is also seamless and not at all noticeable. At highway speeds of 80-90 km/h, difference is totally negligible. Only if you try to hard accelerate, then only you can feel the difference. If driven sedately, at around 60-70 km/h, then CNG range is around 250 kms, but if driven hard at around 100-120, then range falls to approximately 200km.
