Thank you.
If you do this then let us know as well. This is one pain area for night driving.

Hello Phoneix,

I've already installed a light bar in my car, which has been incredibly useful for night drives. However, I'm still uncertain about replacing the main headlights, so I'm taking some time to consider it.

It is not such a wise idea to replace the headlights in a brand-new car. Wait out the warranty period before performing any replacements. ASCs' do not listen to logical explanations and are looking to deny warranty any chance they get. A light bar should do the trick.

Would highly recommend Blue Hyundai for premium cars like Tuscon/Ioniq 5, they are the best in Bangalore in terms of customer service, sales experience and offers.
Contact Mysore road branch, SA named Lohith.

Re: 2022 Hyundai Tucson Review

Hello fellow Bhpians.

Am due for my first service of tucson. The odometer is at 4455 and it’s been 14 months now (about 2 months more than a year. Couldn’t do it at 12 months since was out of town and believe that shouldn’t be of a concern). Would like to know few things as mentioned below:
1. What are the things to be be kept in mind for first service?
2. As mentioned in the previous posts (about synthetic oil), I did mention it to the service center of it and they said they have both synthetic and semi synthetic which can be used as per customer choice.
3. The service center has synthetic oil of servo brand. Is it good and advisable to go with it or there are different opinions to it?
4. What are other major things to be taken care of?

The main thing to focus on is the quantity of oil filled. Previous gen tucson with the same 2.0 diesel is rated for 7.2 L of engine oil. But with the new tucson, Hyundai updated the specs and now it is rated for 5.6L. Mentioned in the owner's manual

Most SCs dont know this but. I had this brought to the attention of my SC and they were amazed as to how i knew about this and how none of them had realized this in the last 3 years almost.

The difference in feel of engine is day and night. It now revs much freely and feels lighter and more responsive.

So fully synthetic / semi synthetic doesn’t matter as far as the actual quantity of oil to be put is 5.6ltr?
And what brand is good? I was just reading through the available options and they range from servo, shell, mobil and many others.

So after inquiring with the sa, he said they will be using OW30 shell ultra helix oil only. He also to shared the photo of the same which am attaching. It’s a 200ltr carton what they have and will be take out from it as required. Will it be a genuine product? Is it okay to proceed with it or should I purchase the Shell ultra helix oil as available on Amazon? Please guide.

Re: 2022 Hyundai Tucson Review

want to understand one thing about Tucson's braking. I keep forward collision ADAS setting on warning only. but couple of times in tight traffic it has happened that I had to press the brake hard and to the full extent possible. It had seemed in both situations that car won't stop and a collision with the vehicle ahead is imminent. In both situations, the car automatically took over, engaged the brake hard taking the pedal further ahead than what I can push with my foot normally.

Some sort of brake assist by car saved the day in both cases. It's similar to what it does when forward assist in on.

has anyone else experienced it?
Does it mean the forward assistance takes over in case of imminent hit even when set to warning only?

I also use shell helix from them and no issues so far.

Happened to me quite a few times despite putting forward collision in warning.

Hello there,

The lightbar switch is placed below the fuse box location. Check the video for more details.

Thanks!
